Mint Chutney



Mint chutney is a tasty side dish for south Indian foods and it is easy to prepare. Mint actually has more benefits mainly for the stomach and it improves your digestive system.

Preparation Time:10 Minutes

Ingredients:


Mint Leaves - 1 cup
Oil - 2 tbsp
Mustard Seeds - 1/4 tbsp
Chana Dal - 1/2 tbsp
Urad Dal - 1/2 tbsp
Coriander seeds - 1/ tbsp
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tbsp
Onion - 1 small
Red chili - 2
Tamarind  - 1 small round
Curry Leaves - 1 sprig
Grated coconut - 1 small cup
Salt - 1/2 tbs

Directions:

Step 1: Heat the pan and add chana dal, urad dal, coriander seeds, and cumin seeds.



Step2: Once it gets Brown, add tamarind, red chili, and Onion.


Step 3: Add Mint leaves and salt then saute it well. Let it cook for 2 minutes.


Step 4: Now add grated coconut and Grind the mixer.



Step 5: After grinding, heat a pan and pour a tbsp of oil, add mustard seeds and curry leaves and sprinkle it on chutney. Mint Chutney is now ready to eat.
