Appam/Wheat Appam
Appam is one of the famous sweet variety. Where you can use any flour to make this appam. I did wheat appam. It is very healthy and tasty. Preparation time for this wheat appam is very less. Of course, kids will love this dish.

Preparation time - 20 minutes
Cooking Time - 10 minutes
Ingredients:
Wheat flour - 1cup
Rice flour - 1/4 cup
Coconut Oil - 2 tbsp
Banana(ripe) - 1 big
Jaggery - 1/2 cup
Cardamom powder - 1/4 tbsp
Baking Soda - 1 pinch
Grated Coconut - 2 tbsp
Jaggery - 1/2 cup
Cardamom powder - 1/4 tbsp
Baking Soda - 1 pinch
Grated Coconut - 2 tbsp
Directions:
Step 1: Add all the ingredients into the mixer except oil and blend well. Make a smooth batter.
Step 2: Transfer the batter to the bowl and rest for 15 minutes.
Step 3: Heat appe pan and pour coconut oil to every mould.
Step 4: Pour the batter to all mould and let it cook for 5 minutes in a low flame.
Step 5: Turn over the appam which has become golden.
Step 6: Once it cooked take out and serve.
