Badusha Recipe|How to make Badusha


Badusha!! Badusha is a traditional dessert, which is famous all over India. Maida flour is the most common way of making Badusha. For making Badusha, the main ingredients are Maida flour, ghee, and sugar. You can make this badusha sweet easily.
You Just need handful ingredients to make this yummy tasty badusha. Diwali is about to come, so I here did this badusha as my Diwali sweet. If you also wanted to make your sweet at home itself then refer the recipe from here and make yummy sweets for your festival.
Do not think that making sweets is a big thing, it is even better than making regular foods. So when you want to make something healthy and neat just go with your own preparation. Here I explained, the badusha recipe with a step by step procedure also with clear photos to make a badusha.

Preparation Time - 20 Minutes
Cooking Time - 15 Minutes

Ingredients:


Maida Flour - 1 cup
Baking Soda - 1 pinch
Sugar - 1 cup
Cardamom powder - 1 pinch
Curd - 1/4 cup
Ghee - 1/4 cup
Oil (or) Ghee to fry

Directions:


Step 1: In a mixing bowl, add maida flour, baking soda, 1 tbsp of sugar, 1/4 cup of ghee, and curd. Mix well properly.


Step 2: Add some water and make a dough. The dough should be in a correct consistency like gulab jamun dough. Rest it for 15 minutes.



Step 3: Once the dough is ready then take a small portion of it and make a rounded ball and then flat shape. Then press the base with your finger in the middle to make a badusha shape.



Step 4: Heat oil in a pan to make a fry. Make it heat for high temperature.
Step 5: Once the oil is ready to fry then, add the badusha and make a fry. Fry it for 5 to 10 minutes in a low flame.


Step 6: Take out once it fried well and turned light brown. Dry it and strain the oil from that.



Step 7: Add sugar in a cup and add 1/2 cup water, a pinch of cardamom powder and make it boil. Let the sugar syrup becomes 1 string consistency. Once it reached string consistency then switch off the flame and add to a bowl.




Step 8: Now add the fried badusha into the sugar syrup and leave it for 10 minutes. Let it dip well in the syrup.  


Step 9: Take out after 10 minutes and serve the badusha.
