Mutton Kulambu Recipe|How to make Mutton Kulambu


Mutton Kulambu Recipe!! Mutton recipe !! Healthy making of mutton is adding homemade masalas. In this mutton kulambu recipe, I used only homemade masalas. It is a Kongunadu style mutton kulambu. You can make the Mutton in many ways, but the best way of kulambu is this mutton recipe only. The onion which is added in the mutton kulambu will give you the best taste for mutton.
Make a masala paste using the ingredients and boil or keep it in a pressure cooker for 8 to 9 whistles with mutton. Then your tasty mutton kulambu will be ready. It is the best way of doing mutton kulambu is making with pot or sand pot. It will take time to cook, but the taste also doubles than doing in a pressure cooker.
Nowadays, we are all like to make our work easier and smart way. So that, in a simple way I did this mutton kulambu with homemade ingredients. Of course, it is healthy preparation also. Here I explained how to make mutton kulambu recipe with step by step procedure with a clear photo.

Servings - 4
Preparation Time - 15 minutes
Cooking Time - 30 Minutes


Ingredients:


Mutton - 1 kg
Onion shallot - 1/2 kg
Red chili - 8 to 10
Coriander Seeds - 4 tbsp
Cumin Seeds - 2 tbsp
Cinnamon - 3" piece
Fennel seeds - 1/2 tbsp
Grated coconut - 4 tbsp
Garlic - 10 cloves
Ginger - 2" piece
Tomato - 1 small
Turmeric Powder - 2 tbsp
Curry leaves - 2 sprig
Oil - 3 tbsp
Salt to taste


Directions:


Step 1: Wash the mutton thoroughly with a pinch of salt and 1 tbsp of turmeric powder.
Step 2: In a pan, dry roast the red chili, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, cinnamon, and fennel seeds. Roast them for 2 minutes.



Step 3: Transfer the into the mixer jar and grind it well.



Step 4: Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pan and add onions. Saute well for 5 minutes until the onion turns brown.



Step 5: Once the onion is about to cook, add ginger and garlic cloves. Saute well for another minute.



Step 6: Then add grated coconut and turmeric powder. Saute it well until the coconuts turn to change in color.



Step 7: After roasting it, cool it for some time and transfer to the mixer jar and grind it with powder already made. Make a fine paste.



Step 8: In a pressure cooker, add 2 tbsp of oil and add curry leaves. Then add chopped tomato and saute well.



Step 9: Add washed mutton pieces and mix it well.



Step 10: Add the ground masala to the cooker pan and add salt. Mix it well and close the cooker with a lid. Leave it for 8 to 9 whistles. 



Step 11: Once the whistle came, switch off the flame. Rest it for some time and open, Your tasty mutton kulambu will be ready.




Serve the mutton kulambu with rice. Rice will be the best combination for mutton kulambu. Try it at your home and enjoy your food time.
