Bonda Recipe


Bonda is a very famous snack variety all over India. Bonda can be done using many flour and vegetables. It has lots of variety. Here I made using gram flour. Onions and coriander leaves make the Bonda tasty and crispy. Added rice flour gives the crispiness and crunchiness to the Bonda. You can prepare the Bonda as your evening tea time snack. Add all the ingredients into a mixing bowl and mix well. Then make it fry. Crispy snack is ready for your tea time.

Here I explained the step by step procedure to make the Gram flour Bonda with clear photos.

    
Servings - 3
Preparation Time - 10 Minutes
Cooking Time - 10 Minutes

Ingredients:


Gram Flour - 1 cup
Rice flour - 1/2 cup
Oil to fry
Chopped Onion - 1 cup
Chopped Coriander - 4 tbsp
Green chili - 2
Curry leaves - 2 sprig
Chili powder - 1 tbsp
Baking soda - 1/4 tbsp
Salt to taste

Directions:


Step 1: In a mixing bowl add chopped onion, coriander leaves, curry leaves, gram flour, rice flour, baking soda, red chili powder, and salt. Mix them well with water.





Step 2: Heat oil in a pan to fry the Bonda. It should be in high temperature to make a fry.



Step 3: Once the oil is ready to fry then, take the mixed flour and put a small ball sized Bonda.


Step 4: Keep stirring until the Bonda is cooked. It should not be overcooked. Take out before it turns too much brown.



Step 5: Transfer to the plate and your crispy Bonda is ready to serve. It can be served with tea or coffee. Make this Bonda at your home and enjoy your snack time.
