Garlic Chicken Fry


Garlic Chicken Fry!! A delicious variety of chicken recipe is garlic chicken fry. This garlic chicken fry gives you the new taste from all other chicken recipes. You can make it in the usual way, but the thing is you have to use lots of garlic in the last step. It is easy to make and tasty recipe. Give a try for this recipe and enjoy your mealtime.

I always use a pressure cooker for making chicken. Because it will take less time than cooking with pan or Kadai. Just try and put all the ingredients in the pressure cooker and cook for 7 to 8 whistles. It is only for country chicken. If it is broiler chicken then,
cook for 3 to 4 whistles

Servings - 4
Preparation Time - 10 Minutes
Cooking Time - 30 Minutes

Ingredients:


Country Chicken - 750 gms
Garlic - 1 cup(100gm)
Chopped Onion - 2
Curry Leaves - 1 sprig
Green Chili - 2
Sesame oil - 2 tbsp
Tomato - 1 big
Ginger garlic paste - 3 tbsp
Turmeric Powder - 2 tbsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tbsp
Garlic - 1 cup(100gm)
Red chili powder - 3 tbsp
Salt to taste

Directions:


Step 1: Wash the chicken thoroughly with a tbsp of turmeric powder and salt. Because the turmeric and salt will remove the bad smell from the chicken.

Step 2: Heat Oil in a pressure pan and add cumin seeds. Let them crackle.



Step 3: Now add chopped onion, curry leaves, and green chili. Saute it well for 1 minute.



Step 4: Add ginger garlic paste. Saute well until the raw aroma of the paste goes away.



Step 5: Now add chopped tomato and stir well. Let the tomato to become soft and smooth.



Step 6: Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and mix them well.



Step 7: Add washed chicken and salt then, mix well with the masalas. Do it for 2 minutes so that, the masala will finely mix with chicken.




Step 8: Add some water, till the chicken top. The water should be filled above the chicken piece. Then only the chicken can cook well.



Step 9: Cover the pressure cooker with lid and cook for 7 to 8 whistles. 




Step 10: Once it cools down, open the cooker and strain the water if it is more. Else keep as it is. You can make chicken soup from the chicken boiled water. Just add pepper and make it boil for 2 minutes. Then your soup will be ready.
Step 11: Now heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pan. Add lots of curry leaves and a cup of chopped garlic. If you want the fry to be spicy then, add some more red chili powder. Stir for 2-3 minutes.





Step 12: Add the chicken with little water to the pan and let it cook for 5 minutes.



Step 13: Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
