Millet Lemon Rice




Millet Lemon Rice!! Barnyard Millet!! Millet lemon rice is a type of variety rice. It's easy to do and tasty too. Millet rice is a package of health benefits. If you wish to lose your weight then, go with millet rice often.

Servings - 1
Preparation Time- 10 Minutes
Cooking Time - 20 minutes

Ingredients: 


Banyard Millet Rice - 1 bowl
Oil - 4 tbsp
Lemon - 2
Roasted Peanuts - 1/4 cup
Chopped small onion - 10
Garlic - 5 cloves
Green Chili - 2
Curry Leaves - 1 sprig
Mustard seeds - 1/4 tbsp
Urad dal - 1/2 tbsp
Chana dal - 1/2 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tbsp
Salt to taste


Directions:

Step 1: Boil 2 cups of water. Wash the millet and add to the boiling water. Make rice by adding a tbsp of oil. It will make rice to get separated.


Step 2: Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, urad dal, and chana dal.


Step 3: Add Chopped onions, Curry leaves, green chili, and garlic. Saute well.


Step 4: Add turmeric powder.


Step 5: Now add lemon juice and stir well.


Step 6: Add roasted peanuts and saute well.

Step 7: Finally, add rice and salt. Mix well.




Step 8: Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
