Mysore Pak recipe|How to make Soft Mysore Pak
Mysore Pak!! Tempting Dessert!!. Mysore Pak is a sweet variety which is very famous in south India especially in Karnataka. Very simple to make and the ingredients needed is very less. You can make a delicious sweet with simple ingredients. It is done with gram flour, sugar, and ghee.
Servings - 4
Preparation Time - 5 minutes
Cooking Time - 20 minutes
Ingredients :
Gram Flour - 1cup
sugar - 1 cup
Ghee - 1.5 cup
Water - 1/2 cup
Directions:
Step 1: Roast gram flour in a dry pan and roast it for 3 to 4 minutes in a low flame. Make sure it should not goes brown. Just fry until the raw aroma goes out.
Step 2: Melt ghee and keep it aside.
Step 3: Add sugar and water into the pan.
Step 4: Heat until the sugar becomes 1 string stage. Cook in a low flame.
Step 5: Add 1/2 cup of Ghee to the gram flour and mix well.
Step 6: Now add this mixer to the sugar and mix it well while adding itself. Be careful while adding, it should turn into lumps.
Step 7: Once the mixer split bubbles then add little ghee.
Step 8: When the ghee is absorbed completely, add remaining ghee little by little with the same procedure.
Step 9: Finally, switch off the flame when it comes to the string consistency.
Step 10: Take a tray which has a flat base. Apply ghee.
Step 11: Transfer the Mysore Pak cream into the tray and make it shape.
Step 12: Let it cool for sometime and transfer to the plate.
Step 13: Cut into the desired shape. Apply ghee to the knife while cutting.
Tempting soft Mysore Pak is ready.
