Tasty Chicken Biryani Recipe|How to make Chicken Briyani




Chicken Briyani!! All-time Favorite dish!! When you say Briyani most of like woowww!! The dish which will make everyone to eat more. Making of biryani has many varieties and types. It is different from place to place. 

Some of us like spicy masala biryani, others like mild white biryani. But the fact is when it comes to biryani, there is no doubt most of us will not say no for it. Best to make biryani is Seeraga Samba Rice or Basmati rice. If you do with Seeraga Samba, it will taste like masala filled biryani. If you do it with Basmati rice, it will give you the mild in masala taste.

It is a simple way and quick to make the biryani. I did the biryani with basmati rice. Before making the biryani soak the rice for about 30 minutes. So that the rice will be cooked soon and you will get an increased quantity. And you can also add the spicy masala directly, or you can grind them into the powder and add. When you add as it is it will give you the mild taste. When you wanted the biryani to be spicier and masala, then make them into a powder and add to the biryani.


The added chicken gives you the extra flavor to the biryani. If it is country breed chicken, then the taste will double and also healthy to eat. The aroma comes from the

Servings - 4
Preparation Time - 30 Minutes
Cooking Time - 40 Minutes


Ingredients:

Basmati rice - 1/2 kg
Chicken - 1/2 kg
Ghee -
Ginger Garlic Paste - 3 tbsp
Green Chili - 4
Onion - 2
Tomato - 1
Mint Leaves - 1 cup
Coriander Leaves - 1 cup
Bay Leaf - 2
Star anise- 3
Cardamom - 2
Cinnamon stick- 2
Black stone flower/Kalpasi - 2
Fennel Seeds - 1 tbsp
Garam Masala - 2 tbsp
Turmeric Powder - 1 tbsp
Curry Masala - 2 tbsp
Biryani Masala - 2 tbsp(Optional)
Red Chili Powder - 2 tbsp
Curd - 2 tbsp
Cashews - 5 to 6
Salt to taste


Procedure:


Step 1: Wash and Soak the rice for 30 minutes. Add 2 cup water for 1 cup of rice.
Step 2: Wash the chicken with 1/2 tbsp of turmeric and little salt.
Step 3: Heat ghee in a pressure cooker and add allspice items like bay leaf, star anise, cardamom, cinnamon, fennel seeds, cloves, Kalpasi. Let it for 1 minute.
Step 4: Now add mint leaves and coriander leaves and let them fry for a minute.
Step 5: Add sliced onions and green chili and saute well for a couple of minutes. Let it fry until turns brown in color.
Step 6: Add ginger garlic paste and saute well until the raw aroma goes away.
Step 7: Add chopped tomato and fry it soft.
Step 8: Now add all the spice powders Curry Masala, Biryani Masala, Red Chili Powder, Turmeric Powder,  Garam Masala and mix well.
Step 9: Add washed chicken and mix well. Let it cook for five minutes. 
Step 10: Now add water double the rice quantity and mix well.
Step 11: Finally, add soaked rice, nuts, and salt. Mix well and cover it with a lid. Let it cook for 2 to 3 whistles in a medium flame. Once the pressure cools open the cooker and mix well gently. The tasty chicken Biryani is ready to serve.
