Okra Fry Recipe


Okra fry can be done in many ways. Here I have prepared it in a new way. I used Tomato and tomato sauce to make an okra fry. It has loads of health benefits which will keep your body healthy forever.
Take this okra (Lady's finger) in your food at least once a week and stay healthy for long.
Okra Fry recipe needed some main ingredients like okra, oil, tomato, salt, lemon juice and some more. It takes some time to cook, but the taste will be awesome. Make a deep fry until the okra color goes brown. When you are doing this okra fry, then add some extra spiciness so that, it will be mouthwatering to eat.
Here I explained how to make Okra Fry recipe with step by step procedure with clear photos.
Servings - 2
Preparation Time - 10Minutes
Cooking Time - 15 Minutes

Ingredients:


Sliced Okra  - 1 cup
Oil - 5 tbsp
Curry Leaves - 2 sprig
Onion - 1
Tomato - 1
Mint leaves - 3 sprig
Coriander leaves - 2 sprig
Tomato sauce - 2 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1tbsp
Red chili powder - 1 tbsp
Salt to taste

Directions:


Step 1: Heat pan and pour the oil. Once the oil is ready, add curry leaves and onion.


Step 2: Now add okra and fry for 2 minutes. Do not often the okra because it will get stingy when you keep stirring it. Cut okra as slice and lengthy slice.


Step 3: Add a little salt and keep cooking until the okra fried 3/4th. Let it change the color.


Step 4: Then add all spices and keep stirring for 2 to 3 minutes.



Step 5: Now add chopped tomatoes and sauce. Saute for 2 minutes.



Step 6: Once the tomato becomes soft and smooth add mint leaves and coriander leaves. Mix well and switch off the flame.



Okra fry is ready. You can serve it with rice and chapati. The tomato sauce gives you the sweetened taste, and the crispiness of the okra makes you eat more.
