Ingredients:
Onion shallot - 10
Tomato - 3

Red chili - 2
Curry leaves - 3 leaves
Chana dal - 1 tbsp
Tamarind - 1 small sized
Salt - 1/4 tbsp
Oil - 2 tbsp
Directions:
Step 1: Heat oil in a pan and add Chana dal.
Step 2: Add Onion, red chili, curry leaves, and tamarind when dal gets slightly brown.
Step 3: Add tomato and salt. Stir well until the tomato turns smooth. Once it cooked switch off the flame.

Step 4: Cool it for some time and grind into a paste then heat the oil and add mustard seeds and curry leaves and pour it on the chutney. Now the spicy Tomato onion chutney is ready.
