Quail Fry\Kaadai fry is a delicious fry. This delicious fry can be done quick and easily. Quail is like a chicken. The added pepper gives you the spicy taste. Here I did a semi pepper fry. Kaadai is small in size and soft. Marinate the quail with a tbsp of turmeric powder and salt for 5 to 10 minutes.


You just need fewer ingredients to prepare this quail\Kaadai fry. It is an easy dish which can be done within half an hour. This fry is prepared like chicken fry with additionally added lots of pepper. Quail is a healthy variety.

Here I explained a step by step procedure to make Quail Fry \ Kaadai Fry with clear photos.



Servings - 4
Preparation time - 10 minutes
Making Time - 30 minutes

Ingredients:

  

Quail - 3/4 kg
Chopped Onion - 1
Chopped Tomato - 1
Green Chili - 2
Ginger Garlic Paste - 2tbsp
Oil- 4 tbsp
Curry Leaves - 1 sprig
Turmeric Powder -2tbsp
Red Chili Powder -1 tbsp
Chili powder - 1 tbsp 
Pepper Powder - 4 tbsp
Salt To Taste

Procedure:

Step 1:  Wash the Quail/Kaadai with a tbsp of turmeric and salt thoroughly. Marinate it for 5 to 10 minutes.
Step 2:  Heat oil in a pan and add onion, curry leaves, and green chili.
Step 3:  Add Ginger garlic paste once the onion gets brown, Stir well until raw aroma goes away.
Step 4:  Now add tomato and saute well until its get smoothy.
Step 5:  Add all spices turmeric powder, chili powder, red chili powder and stir well.
Step 6:  Finally add Quail \ kaadai, salt and saute it well.
Step 7:  Add a cup of water and cover with a lid. Let it cook for  15 minutes.
Step 8: Finally, add pepper powder and saute well for 2 to 3 minutes.
Step 9:  Switch off the stove. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.

Quail Fry \ Kaadai fry is best for your lunch meal. It goes well with rice and all tiffin varieties.
