Mango rice or manga sadham is a simple and delicious rice variety.

Mango/ kairee (green mango) rice is a classic dish made of fluffy rice, freshly grated raw mango and spices to give a nice tangy and flavorful rice. Sour mango will give the special taste to this mango rice. It was my most favorite dish during my school days.
This mango rice is made with grated mango and with some basic ingredients. To make this mango rice first cook rice and keep aside. Then fry urad dal, chana dal, onion, curry leaves, and green chili. Then add grated mango, salt, turmeric powder and add cooked rice and mix well. Then the tasty and delicious mango rice or manga sadham is ready to taste your buds.

Ingredients:
Cooked Rice - 1 Bowl(500g)
Raw mango - 1
Oil - 2 tbsp
Mustard Seeds - 1/2 tbsp
Urad Dal - 1 tbsp
Chana Dal - 1 Tbsp
Onion - 1
Green chili - 2
Curry Leaves - 1 sprig
Turmeric Powder - 1 tbsp
Salt To taste
Coriander Leaves
Procedure :
Step 1: Grate the mango and keep it aside.
Step 2: Heat pan and pour oil. Once the oil gets enough temperature add mustard seeds, urad dal, and chana dal. Let them fry for a minute until it turns brown in color.
Step 3: Then add Onion, green chili, and curry leaves and saute well until the onion fries brown in color.
Step 4: Add turmeric powder and saute well.
Step 5: Add grated mango and saute for 5 minutes.
Step 6: Add salt to taste and mix well.
Step 7: Add boiled rice and mix it well with mango.
Step 8: Garnish with coriander leaves. The tasty and tangy Mango rice is ready to taste.
