Brinjal Fish Curry
Brinjal Fish Curry!! Best Combo!! Brinjal and fish are one of the best combinations ever. You can take any fish to the brinjal curry. Here I used pomfret fish. Beneficial fish among all. Brinjal fish curry is a side dish, and it goes well with chapati, dosa, idly and many.

Ingredients:
Pomfret Fish - 1
Rounded Brinjal - 250 gms
Rounded Brinjal - 250 gms
Oil - 4 tbsp
Chopped Onion - 1
Chopped tomato - 2
Chopped tomato - 2
Curry leaves - 1sprig
Ginger - 2 pieces
Garlic - 8 cloves
Green Chili - 3
Tamarind - 1 lemon sized
Coconut - 4 tbsp
Mustard seeds - 1/4 tbsp
Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tbsp
Red chili powder - 3 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Directions:
Step 1: Make a paste by grinding ginger, garlic, green chili, soaked tamarind and grated coconut.
Step 2: Cut fish into small pieces. Add turmeric powder and salt. Mix well and marinate for 10 minutes.
Step 3: Heat two tbsp of oil in a pan and add mustard seeds and cumin seeds.
Step 4: Add chopped onion, curry leaves and saute it.
Step 5: Now add brinjal, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt.
Step 6: Cover with a lid and cook for 5 minutes.
Step 7: Now add tomato and saute well until getting a smoothy.
Step 8: Add ground masala to the brinjal fry and cook for 5 minutes until the raw aroma goes away.
Step 9: Heat oil in a dosa Tawa and add marinated fish. Fry it for 5 minutes.
Step 10: Once the brinjal curry is ready then add this fried fish. Cook it for another 5 minutes in a low flame.
Step 11: Brinjal Fish Curry is ready to serve.
