Green Masala Poha



Green Masala Poha!! When you wanted to try for a new recipe just go with this yummy delicious Green masala Poha. You can make lots of variety using Poha. This Green masala Poha is one of the tasty. Try it and have a tasty breakfast.


Servings - 2
Preparation Time - 10 Minutes
Cooking Time - 10 Minutes

Ingredients:


Thick Poha - 1cup
Oil - 2 tbsp
Mustard Seeds - 1/2 tbsp
Chana Dal - 1/2 tbsp
Urad dal - 1/2 tbsp
Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tbsp
Green Chili - 4
Curry Leaves - 2 sprig
Mint Leaves - 2 tbsp
Coriander Leaves -  5 tbsp
Ginger - 1 small piece
Lemon - 1/2
Chopped Onion - 1
Peanuts - 3 tbsp
Cashews - 4 to 5
Grated Coconut - 2 tbsp
Sugar - 1/2 tbsp
Salt to taste


Directions:


Step 1: Wash Poha and soak it in water with little salt and sugar for 1 minute. Drain the water and keep aside.







Step 2: In a jar add coriander leaves, Curry leaves, Mint Leaves, ginger, coconut, green chili, and lemon juice. Grind it to paste.





Step 3: Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, urad dal, and chana dal. Let them splutter.



Step 4: Add chopped onion and saute well.



Step 5: Add the ground paste and stir well.





Step 6: Now add Poha and salt. Mix well. 


Step 7: In a pan, heat oil or ghee then, add peanuts and cashews. Roast them.


Step 8: Finally, add roasted nuts to the Poha and mix well.


Step 9: Switch off the flame after a minute and serve hot.
