Vegetable Paniyaram Recipe|How to make Vegetable Paniyaram


Vegetable Paniyaram!! Paniyaram is a traditional south Indian dish. The rice and dal batter can be mixed with mixed vegetables and cooked in an appe pan. This vegetable paniyaram gives you the unique taste. The taste of all vegetables mixed into the batter and when it is fried in the paniyaram pan with more oil will make the paniyaram tastier.
You can also make this as a snack for your kids when they return from school. Of course, kids will really love this vegetable paniyaram. Those kids who refuse to eat vegetables surely will eat when you prepared the veggies like this in a different way.
Here I used carrot, beans, potato, and onions to make the vegetable paniyaram. You can also add your favorite veggies to make this paniyaram. It is easy, healthy tiffin for your family.

Servings - 2
Preparation Time - 10 Minutes
Cooking Time - 15 Minutes

Ingredients:


Idly \Dosa batter - 2 cup
Chopped Onion - 1/4 cup
Chopped Carrot - 1/4 cup
Chopped Beans - 1/4 cup
Chopped Potato - 1/4 cup
Tomato - 1 small
Green chili - 2
Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tbsp
Salt to taste 
Oil  - 4 tbsp

Directions:


Step 1: Take a pan and heat. Pour 2 tbsp of oil and let it heat.

Step 2: Then add chopped onion, green chili and saute well until the onions turn light brown.

Step 3: Add Ginger garlic paste and saute well until the raw aroma goes away.


Step 4: Now add all other chopped vegetable and salt. Add turmeric powder and garam masala powder. Saute them well. 


Step 5: Add cubed tomato. Saute well and make it cook until the vegetables fried well.


Step 6: Transfer the fried vegetables into the batter bowl and mix well.


Step 7: Heat appe pan and pour oil to each mould. 


Step 8: Pour the batter to each mould and let it cook for 3 to 4 minutes in a medium flame.


Step 9: Flip it once it cooked. Again cook for 3 to 4 minutes to cook another side. After 4 minutes take out and serve hot.



The tasty yummy and colourfull vegetable paniyaram is ready to eat. Serve it with sambar or any chutney. The fried vegetables give you the best taste. You can make this vegetable paniyaram for your kid's lunch box also.
