Rava Dosa





Rava Dosa!! A thin and crispy dosa made from rava and rice flour. One of the best variety in dosa. 
You can prepare it instantly at your home. It doesn't need to grind the flour and keep for overnight.
Simple steps to make rava dosa is explained here with photos.



Servings - 1
Preparation Time - 20 minutes
Cooking Time - 10 Minutes

Ingredients:


Rava - 1/2 cup
Rice flour - 1/2 Cup
Maida flour - 1/4 cup
Cumin Seeds - 1 tbsp
Finely Chopped Onion - 1
Finely Chopped Green chili - 2
Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp
Curry Leaves - 1 tbsp
Ginger - 1 inch(Finely Chopped)
Oil - 4 tbsp
Salt to taste.

Directions:


Step 1: In a bowl, Add Rava, maida and rice flour. Mix well by adding 3 cups of water.


Step 2: Add all other ingredients to the bowl and mix well.


Step 3: The batter should be in buttermilk consistency. Leave the Mixer for about 20 minutes.


Step 4: The rava will absorb the water when it's soaking.  


Step 5: Once the batter is ready, heat dosa pan. Pan should be heated well.
Step 6: Pour the batter into the pan and pour some oil. Cook it in a low flame for 2 to 3 minutes.


Step 7: When the side edges of the dosa topping up then flip it on another side and cook for about a minute.



Step 8: Then transfer the Rava Dosa to a plate and serve with chutney.
