Agathi Keerai saadham is one of the healthy dishes which can be prepared for kid's lunch box. It is good for both kids and adults. Those who do not like to have the raw spinach can try this different variety of Agathi Keerai saadham. This rice can be done with coriander leaves and mint leaves. But here I have done only with Agathi Keerai.
Agathi spinach will facilitate easy digestion, will cure acidity related problems, will reduce body heat and eyes will be cooled, urination and stools elimination will be proper, Stomach ulcer will be cured.

Agathi Keerai Rice is prepared with ginger garlic paste, some onions, green chili, curry leaves, and lemon juice. Here I explained a step by step procedure to make Agathi keerai Rice with a clear photo.
Agathi Keerai - 1 bunch
Boiled Rice - 1 cup
Oil - 4 tbsp
Mustard seeds - 1/4 tbsp
Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tbsp
Chana dal - 1/2 tbsp
Urad dal - 1/2 tbsp
Onion - 1
Green Chili - 2
Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Curry leaves - 1 sprig
Lemon - 1/2
Asafoetida - 1/4 tbsp
Salt to taste
Step 2: Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, urad dal, and chana dal. Let them crackle.
Step 3: Now add chopped onions, curry leaves, and green chili. Saute it well for a minute and then add next ingredient.
Step 4: Add ginger garlic paste and saute well until the raw aroma of ginger garlic paste goes away.
Step 5: Then add the ground puree into the pan. Stir well for a couple of minutes and let them cook until the raw flavor goes away.
Step 6: Add salt and mix well. Let it cook until the oil segregates from the puree.
Step 7: Finally, add cooked rice and mix well. Let it cook for 2 minutes in a medium flame.
Step 8: Switch off the stove and serve hot.
