Mint Chicken fry is a colorful and tasty recipe. When you are bored with the regular chicken recipe just go with this mint chicken fry recipe. It is helpful for Paleo followers. Those who are following paleo diet can take this Mint Chicken Fry. It contains only homemade masalas, and the chicken is roasted using butter.  So the chicken only contains good fat. If you wish you can add some oil too. So that the chicken will give you the juiciness. 

If you love the mint flavor, then you can add a lot of mints.  Those who do not like the heavy flavor then, can add some small amount of mint and can try this recipe. A small amount of mint will give you the mild taste for your taste buds. To make this mint chicken fry, you do not need any other masalas which bought from the store. What you all need is red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and garam masala powder.
Before making of this Mint Chicken fry, you have to cut the chicken piece into some big pieces. Then only the chicken fry will give you the texture and tastes like grilled chicken. If it is a small piece, then the taste will be like the chicken in the gravy. 

Marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes. So the taste of chicken will be much better. For the marination, you need turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, ginger garlic paste, and salt. Add all these ingredients in a mentioned level and mix well. The added mint in this Chicken fry gives you the freshness to your mind. And also when it comes to chicken, most of us will think that it will make the body to a high temperature. But when you cook it with ingredients like mint and all, then you can feel some less heat. Because mint leaves naturally have the ability to make our body cool.

Ingredients:


Chicken - 1/2 kg
Butter - 3 tbsp
Oil - 2 tbsp
Mint - 1 bunch
Coriander Leaves - 4 sprig
Curry Leaves - 1 sprig
Chopped Onion - 1
Green Chili - 4
Grated Coconut - 4 tbsp
Ginger-garlic paste - 2 tbsp
Red Chili powder - 3 tbsp
Coriander Powder - 3 tbsp
Turmeric Powder - 1 tbsp
Garam Masala powder - 2 tbsp
Salt to taste

Procedure:


Step 1: Wash and clean the chicken piece. And take it in a bowl.
Step 2: Add all the ingredients to marinate the chicken. Add 1 tbsp of red chili powder, 1 tbsp of coriander powder, 1 tbsp of ginger garlic paste, 1/2 tbsp of turmeric powder, 1 tbsp of oil, and 1/4 tbsp of salt. Mix them well and keep aside for at least 30 minutes.
Step 3: Heat Butter in a pan and add finely chopped onions and curry leaves. Saute them well until it becomes brown and soft.
Step 4: Add remaining ginger garlic paste and saute well until the raw aroma goes away.
Step 5: Now add remaining red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and stir well for a minute.
Step 6: Then add marinated chicken and mix well for a minute.
Step 7: Cover it with a lid and cook it for 10 to 15 minutes in a medium flame.
Step 8: In a mixer jar, add mint leaves, coriander leaves, grated coconut, and green chili. Grind it to the fine paste.
Step 9: Once the chicken is cooked half then add this ground paste and mix well.
Step 10: Add garam masala and salt. Mix well. Cover the pan with a lid again and cook for another 10 minutes in a medium flame.
Step 11: Then the yummy and tasty mint chicken fry is ready to serve.
