How to make mint Chicken Fry|Pudhina Chicken Fry|புதினா சிக்கன்| हरियाली चिकन|Hariyali Chicken Fry

Chefcircle's Mint Chicken fry is a colorful and tasty recipe. When you are bored with the regular chicken recipe just go with this mint chicken fry  (Hariyali Chicken) recipe. It is helpful for Paleo followers. Those who are following paleo diet can take this Mint Chicken Fry. It contains only homemade masalas, and the chicken is roasted using ghee or butter.  So the chicken only contains good fat. If you wish you can add some oil too. So that the chicken will give you the juiciness.

Ingredients:


Chicken - 500gms
Onion -1 Cup
Green Chili – 4 Nos
Ginger Garlic Paste - 2 tbsp
Red chili powder - 2 tbsp
Coriander Powder - 2 tbsp
Turmeric Powder - 2 tbsp
Garam Masala powder - 2 tbsp
Oil - 4 tbsp
Ghee or Butter - 2 tbsp
Mint - 1 Bunch
Coriander Leaves - 2 sprig
Grated Coconut - 2 tbsp
Salt to Taste


Procedure:


Step 1: Wash and clean the chicken piece. And take it in a bowl.

Step 2: Add all the ingredients to marinate the chicken. Add 1 tbsp of red chili powder, 1 tbsp of coriander powder, 1 tbsp of ginger garlic paste, 1/2 tbsp of turmeric powder, 1 tbsp of oil, and 1/4 tbsp of salt. Mix them well and keep aside for at least 30 minutes.

Step 3: Heat Butter in a pan and add finely chopped onions and curry leaves. Saute them well until it becomes brown and soft.

Step 4: Add remaining ginger garlic paste and saute well until the raw aroma goes away.

Step 5: Now add remaining red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and stir well for a minute.

Step 6: Then add marinated chicken and mix well for a minute.

Step 7: Cover it with a lid and cook it for 10 to 15 minutes in a medium flame.

Step 8: In a mixer jar, add mint leaves, coriander leaves, grated coconut, and green chili. Grind it to the fine paste.

Step 9: Once the chicken is cooked half then add this ground paste and mix well.

Step 10: Add garam masala and salt. Mix well. Cover the pan with a lid again and cook for another 10 minutes in a medium flame.

Step 11: Then the yummy and tasty mint chicken fry is ready to serve.
